This camp will consist of 2 training days prior to the first FIS races. After the Welsh races we will look at attending the Villar CIT races directly after, dependant on if they run. If they do not run we will travel home on the 26th unless athletes wish to stay and race in the BASS events.

Transfers to resort, Accommodation, Food, Lift Pass, Coaching, Fitness

This camp will consist of 4 days training prior to the Welsh GS & SL

Children Athletes (U12 & U10)

20th-27th January 2018

We will be providing training for this age group on a live out basis only.

We also offer training and race support to athletes that wish to stay in parent’s accommodation as outlier athletes. Spaces for this are dependent on the number of residential athletes that are staying with JR Skiracing. The cost of this is £70 per athlete per day and notice MUST be given prior to the camp commencing to guarantee a training spot.

Champery

Situated just 90 minute drive from Geneve past the Swiss end of the lake.

Champery is part of the extensive ski area known as the Portes Du Soleil the largest ski domain in the world linking into the French ski resorts of Chatel, Morzine and Les Gets to name a few. It has 194 ski lifts with a numerous number of ski runs to suit all abilities!

This is a personal favorite as I competed in the Youth Olympics here. The area is so extensive and some pistes are outstanding for training and racing.

Champery hosts the Welsh Alpine Championships in January each year and is a fantastic event, one not to be missed!

In the summer it is also a Mountain Biking Mecca holding the notorious Passport Du Soleil where athletes have to race around every resort with over 80km of cycling and get back to the starting point before the lifts close. I can highly recommend this to any ski athlete that uses mountain biking as a cross over sport!
